About Me
Wei Xia’s research focuses on inter-firm relations, AI-driven industries, entrepreneurship, and international business. He has publications in Administrative Science Quarterly and the Journal of Business Venturing. Wei’s teaching has earned him the Star Teacher Award for AI-enhanced teaching excellence. He was the first Ph.D. candidate selected to teach the business school’s largest Entrepreneurship class of 260 students from the entire UW. He has extensive entrepreneurial experience. Prior to entering the PhD program, he founded a strategy consulting firm that advised Chinese startups on IPOs and M&As.
